Upcoming Sexual Assault Counselor Training dates:
October – November 2016

San Francisco Women Against Rape provides a Sexual Assault Counselor State Certified Training three times a year. This training is for volunteers who are interested in directly providing services to survivors of sexual assault.
The training lasts approximately 8 weeks, on two weekday evenings Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-9pm and Saturdays 9:30am-5:30pm.
We have an application and interview screening process for all prospective volunteers.

We accept applications year round.
Women of Color* belonging to any of the communities listed below are strongly encouraged to apply.
Trans and/or Queer
Young women who are 20 years old or younger (if you are under 18, we will need guardian/parental consent for your application)
Marginally housed, formally homeless
Bilingual/bicultural speakers of needed languages other than English (stipend provided)
